I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
(What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong)
Oh yeah.
You see trees of green, I see dead leaves, you see roses too, and I see thorns, and I say to myself, what a crappy old world!
Some us would like to sing that song like that. Why?
We smile when all we really want is to cry. We’re silent when all we just want to do is scream.
We stay when we just want to run away, and all we want is to hide.
Yeah! All we want is to hide. Many of us that’s what we do! We wear ours masks well, yet we are not okay.
It’s Okay Not Being Okay.
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2: 20
